Magnani Caruso Dutton is a leading independent interactive design and marketing agency located in New York City. We work with some of the world’s most recognizable brands, including AT&T, HBO, Discover Financial Services, and Sesame Street.
We are looking for a Flex and Flash ActionScript Developer to develop and implement interfaces for large scale web sites. The individual will be responsible for bringing a project to life, thus, applicants must show strong understanding of web functionality, animation, usability, and optimization. This position is full-time or freelance to full-time.
Qualifications
* Strong ActionScript 3.0 and Flex required
* Coded animation experience (timeline a plus)
* Understanding of OOP, web optimization practices and examples to prove it
* Experience with IDE (e.g., Eclipse), version control (e.g., SVN) and QA (e.g., Mantis) tools required
* Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
* Ability to stay focused and deliver on time and on budget
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
* Three years experience in an agency environment (although exceptional work can make up for lack of agency experience)
* BS in Computer Science, applicable experience considered
